On April 11 – 12, 2013 three
convenience stores along Highway 101 were broken in to (see attached reports).
Investigators believe the same suspect(s) are responsible for all three
burglaries. Cartons of Newport and Marlboro brand cigarettes were the only
items taken in the burglaries. Investigators also believe that these burglaries
may be connected to similar burglaries along I-85 in the Mooresville, NC area.
Investigators from the Sheriff's Office have been exchanging information with
Investigators from North Carolina regarding their investigation of the
burglaries in their area. If anyone has any information about these burglaries
or the identity of the suspects we ask that they call CrimeStoppers at
